The Configuration Manager must review the Technology Asset And Configuration Management process to verify if the technology configuration management system functions as per the process defined. The review is intended to check if all Technology Asset And Configuration Management processes are followed appropriately, and the objective of technology configuration management is achieved. The review confirms that the technology configuration management records are complete, consistent, and accurate. It also gives confidence that unintended use of obsolete artifacts is prevented. The key performance indicators agreed with the Client must also be measured and reviewed.

The Configuration Manager creates a Technology Asset And Configuration Management Review Report once the review is complete. Any gaps or discrepancies identified during the review are highlighted here.
